Home cooking in a simple and familiar environment. Me, my wife and that little girl were really good, spending the right. We'll be back.

Nice place, simple and familiar where you can find a good welcome and adequate food.... you are in the mountains, in the woods, a stone's throw from home. Try and... return

Stayed 1 night as tempted by restaurant reviews. We were only guests, hotel well dated, room spacious but bed awful with hand made frame X 2 slotted over ancient twin beds, retro 80s. Did not sleep a wink, air con so noisy and useless (we have Clima at home). Restaurant awful, clearly from freezer, despite menu outside attached to wall behind cracked and faded lamination showing all sorts of delights. Asked for menu, was given menu but most options were scored through as unavailable and woman host said the menu was a fish special at 20 eu. Crab !!! Penne plus miniture below legal limit surely orato/seabream. Husband asked if his pasta could be spaghetti instead and she told it would not work other than as per her menu. That was because it was clearly freezer/micro dish. I ate a basic spaghetti dish of something very forgettable. The half litre prosecco was the best of all. Fortunately there was market on all weekend so we were able to buy some pecorina cheese and some Barese biscuits (very expensive 20 eu 350gm cheese, bag of biscs and a small melon) but still made up for awful Cavalli dinner which cost 38eu. Breakfast was not any better apart from coffee and dry croissant and a few cheap supermarket yogs and dried packet toast. She informed us our package price was for basis breakfast. Very unfriendly woman, awful place which was a shame because it really could have been something, once. Glad to leave although exhausted after a night of lying on a wooden bed. We know Italian beds and doghes having bought one only this year in April. Our advice avoid this place and do not believe the lovely crustacea photos or the prospect of wonderful Chioggia specialities. 1 star only because you can't mark it down as less.
