On April 8th, 2024, at 7:27 pm, as a regular customer at Charley’s Cheesesteak, I requested the griddle be cleaned for religious reasons to avoid contact with bacon, which is prohibited in my food. Unfortunately, nobody cleaned it. When I asked the cook if the griddle had been cleaned, he said no and mentioned that bacon hadn't been made earlier. However, as Muslim truckers who frequent the restaurant, we kindly ask for the griddle to be cleaned upon request before preparing our meals. Thank you.

Haven't had Charley's for over ten years, still tastes just the same.

Well, this was an upsetting dinner. I opted for the large Philly cheesesteak. I didn't set up expectations for this to live up to Max's back in Philly. I just wanted a by the book cheesesteak. $14 got me some bread with a few pieces of meat. One half had a little meat on the end, the other half stretched a couple slices across the length, and tried masking the lack with the provolone.It's a truck stop restaurant, I'm not trying to put a lot of expectations on them... but this doesn't add up to what I was charged.I can't find a way to reply directly to your reply. This was 11 months ago, so not what I'd consider recent. No resolution ever came about, even when I called and visited.
