Wasn't... read more We took a Long detour to get here, having read the reviews. And it was absolutely worth it! Ask for the grilled dishes, and leave some space for desert. Wasn't expensive too, 90EU for 6 of us for a full meal w two bottles of wine. Restaurant boss is 3rd generation owner, and took real good care of us. He doesn't speak English tho, so come prepared w your best Spanish, or a good phrase book. Low cell signal here, so don't expect Google to help.

Having read the translation of the only previous review of Los Gemelos in here, it was with some trepidation that we entered the restaurant for lunch last Monda... read more Having read the translation of the only previous review of Los Gemelos in here, it was with some trepidation that we entered the restaurant for lunch last Monday while on a conducted tour of a nearby bodega and jarapas factory. Man, how very different would our experience be to what we had read and what a treat we were in for! Every one of the many dishes was superbly cooked, well presented and beautifully served with lovely smiles. The accompanying enjoyable wines, beers and other drinks also all kept coming and we simply cannot fault anything. Admittedly, we have no idea what it cost as it was included in an all-in trip but, let's put it this way, we would be very glad to go back under our own steam, have the very same again and pay well for it. Tip for anyone going there for a similar lunch, leave lots of room for the final superb main course!
