They offer vegetarian and vegan options, which my sister and I appreciated. We tried the Aubergine Greens Sammie without the Government Cheese and the Winter Root Bowl, both of which were very tasty. For dessert, they surprised us with a vegan option not on the menu. It was a banana in an egg-free egg roll wrap, fried with chocolate sauce and PB2 (peanut butter powder). There were definitely other flavors we missed, but it was delicious! Thank you Boriken for the incredible experience. The food, staff, and atmosphere were all fantastic.

They offer vegetarian and vegan options, which is perfect for my sister and me. We enjoyed the aubergine greens sandwich without the government cheese and the winter root bowl. For dessert, they surprised us with a vegan option that wasn't on the menu - a banana in an egg roll wrap, fried and served with chocolate sauce and peanut butter powder. It was absolutely delicious! I'm sure there are other great options that I missed, but overall, the experience at Boriken was fantastic. The food was great, and the personal service and atmosphere made it even better. Thank you, Boriken, for a wonderful dining experience!

It wasn't mentioned anywhere, which didn't surprise me because... read more This place had a location in Lorain that is now closed, and they've opened a small spot in Avon. It wasn't mentioned anywhere, which didn't surprise me because the food was disappointing. I ordered two tacos, one with shredded beef and the other with ground beef. The ground beef was so overly salty that it was inedible. I didn't want to ruin the experience for the young couple who came in after us and ordered the same. My wife's veggie burrito was also overly sweet. Even the diet Coke was undrinkable. Instead of sticking around, we decided to leave. I hope they can turn things around, but it doesn’t seem promising.

Howe... read more The restaurants ambiance was exquisite and the music was very inclusive. The waiter who seemed very young did an excellent job as it seemed to only be her. However, this establishment chose to take part in the recent bar crawl. When we entered the establishment they informed us that we had to finish our drinks outside or they had to throw them away as we were not allowed to bring drinks into their establishment. This was a bit weird since we were participating in a BAR CRAWL. However we obliged to their rules. But then other customers came into the place with their drinks and they allowed them in and sat them at a table. Along with that the tostones did not taste like tostones and the burger that someone in my party ordered was EXTREMELY salty and because of the wait we did not have time to get a new burger made. Very disappointed with my experience.
