They offer vegetarian and vegan options, which my sister and I appreciated. We tried the Aubergine Greens Sammie without the Government Cheese and the Winter Root Bowl, both of which were very tasty. For dessert, they surprised us with a vegan option not on the menu. It was a banana in an egg-free egg roll wrap, fried with chocolate sauce and PB2 (peanut butter powder). There were definitely other flavors we missed, but it was delicious! Thank you Boriken for the incredible experience. The food, staff, and atmosphere were all fantastic.

They offer vegetarian and vegan options, which is perfect for my sister and me. We enjoyed the aubergine greens sandwich without the government cheese and the winter root bowl. I'm sure there are other great options that I missed, but overall, the experience at Boriken was fantastic. The food was great, and the personal service and atmosphere made it even better. The waitress was knowledgeable and what she wasn’t sure of went and asked the chef. I got the New York strip with rice and greens and the greens were seriously the best I’ve ever had! We got the short ribs for an appetizer and they were defiantly tasty. All in all great service great food.

However, the food didn’t quite live up to expectations and could use some improvement. When I visited on a Friday night, there were only five other people there, which was surprising. The service was outstanding, though, and I would definitely consider returning. This spot is cool enough to deserve another chance!
