Always a favorite on Lopez Island!!! Fabulous baked goods! Sorry to see its for sale and hope a new owner doesn't change it!!!
My girlfriend and her family always visit this place for a cinnamon roll whenever they’re on the island, so I knew I had to give one a try. It was so delicious that I ended up getting a second one to take home! If you have a sweet tooth, this is definitely the spot to visit.
I am always pleased with my experiences at Holly B’s! Make sure to arrive early, right when they open, to enjoy the best selection. You definitely won't be let down!
Love Holly B’s! Been coming here since I was 3 and although owners have switched a few times the almond butterhorns and cinnamon rolls are still so yummy! Miss the cappuccino bars
After I picked up some spinach artichoke dip and plump blueberries from Blossom Grocery, I headed to the beach. The baguette was delicious—it was easily my favorite of the three! It had a wonderful texture and flavor, and it was heavenly dipped straight into the spinach artichoke dip. I practically devoured half the baguette in one go, and the rest made for fantastic toasts over the next couple of days. Later in the afternoon, I dug into the almond butterhorn pastry. The staff recommended heating it up, which I think would be great if you have that option. The kind lady behind the counter offered to warm it for me, but I opted to wait until after my healthier snack of baguette, dip, and blueberries. I’m glad I tried the butterhorn, but I usually prefer less sweet options, so I might choose something different next time. Since I was on a roll, I quickly finished off the molasses cookie after dinner. It was generously sized, soft and chewy, and packed with flavor. I’d gladly enjoy one—or even three—of those again! The prices are pretty standard for island treats, and the shop is small, so it's best to take your goodies outside, assuming you can resist digging in immediately. I look forward to visiting again soon, hopefully this summer with my family!
