Nestled along the west side of Looe, The Sea Kitchen impresses with its classy ambience and expert hospitality. Diners revel in a fresh, seasonal menu that showcases local catches, with standout dishes including crispy fish and chips and melt-in-your-mouth plaice. Though some found certain prices steep for portion sizes, the overall quality of food keeps patrons returning. Despite minor service hiccups, such as drink delays and limited non-alcoholic options, the welcoming atmosphere and stunning views make it a standout dining destination. Sea Kitchen is without a doubt the top restaurant in Looe. It is run with great professionalism and maintains a high standard, offering impeccably prepared fish dishes. Max, the chef, is outstanding, and Isolina is a kind, helpful, and friendly host. Altogether, it provides a wonderful dining experience with a lovely atmosphere.
We have visited Looe many times, but this was our first time at this restaurant and it was a fantastic experience. The food was incredibly delicious, prepared and served with a lot of passion and attention to detail. The location was also amazing, with beautiful views overlooking Looe Bay and close to the rocky Hannafore.
