Description

**Dining at The Black Swan: A Mixed Bag of Experiences**

The Black Swan offers a lively atmosphere that appeals to a younger crowd, featuring a vibrant, albeit noisy, environment. While many guests praise the delicious food, including dog-friendly options and hearty portions, others note inconsistencies in service and attention to detail. Reports of rude interactions with staff detract from the overall experience, yet the welcoming demeanor of some employees shines through. Decor improvements could enhance the ambiance, but reasonable prices and quality meals encourage many to return. For a casual dining spot with potential, The Black Swan embodies both charm and areas needing refinement.

Stopped for Lunch at 1.30 with my wife and small dog. Wish i didn’t though. Sat down in a booth. A man came up to me and said NO vaping in here! I wasn’t it was just in my hand. Don’t now who he was, maybe staff or owner? My dog was sat with me on the seat and the barman ordered me to get the dog off the furniture. Funny outside said Dog friendly! Order one small brunch and one large brunch. Way overpriced for what we got, chips (actually fries) done to hard death. Deep fried sausage you could knock a nail in with. Egg and beans bacon. Nothing else no mushrooms no bread no tomato. Felt like I was mugged off. Not friendly or dog friendly, cheap overpriced over cooked food. Can’t believe pubs like this still exist or where they having a bad day. Couldn’t wait to leave and won’t be back.
