Top for a glass on the terrace with a nice cut. The waitress was great and nice. Their Strawberry Melba cut is succulent! On the other hand, my family was disappointed at the lunch. Some people received support that they had not ordered without being notified in advance and the server gave us a farfelue explanation. When you order dauphinois gratin and instead you have rice, which by the way was not even on the map,... View all feedback.
What Sooph doesn't like about Brasserie Le Strasbourg:
Fine food, not super special but just good for a social price. Crème brûlée was really good. Lamb steak Steak Tartare Service was all right, we had to ask for scone at dessert. Minute. View all feedback.
What a magnificent building worth a visit, just to look at the architecture, had only one coffee, but the teller of the food was served wonderful will certainly look again for a meal next time in the opposite.
Good place in the city centre to go to chat over a drink, coffee, dessert, or even a late dinner. Outdoor seating, weather permitting. Good crepes.
Three of us stopped in for hot drinks, then stayed for dinner. We chose the Menu Stras for 24€ which is good value for a three course meal. I did not enjoy my Gaspacho, but after tasting it I don't think I would like the...dish anyway! I really enjoyed the Vegetarian lasagna with a local twist and topped with goat's cheese. I enjoyed the creme Brule though it didn't need the pistachio variation as it is delicious by itself. Despite comments from previous posts that service was lacking, we did not find this to be the case. The host was welcoming and helpful. He spoke English for us and made polite inquiries about Australia. This is the most strikingly beautiful restaurant in town and worth a visit when stopping in Lons-le-saunier. The food and service were very good. Bon Appétit
The restaurant is serving a good variety of products. It's nothing crazy but the price and the offer are consistent. We advice to go for the speciality or the fishes instead of the common meals you can have anywhere. The staff is really friendly. The...room is big and can be a bit noisy, it's something to consider if you want to spend a quite evening...!
We happened upon this restaurant and were not disappointed with our meals. She had truite mreunière whilst he invested in the local fare, Ballotine chicken breast rolled around a slice of ham with cheese a delight. The staff were helpful and the food...reasonably priced. If you happen to be in the area this popular establishment is well worth a visit.
