the restaurants of svalbard are not good for vegan, but kroa has some vegetarian options on the menu that can be made vegan. there was no rush when I asked. I had the Indisk Valley. the part was great and delicious. View all feedback.
What abmilw doesn't like about Kroa:
nice lunch spot just off the main square. Basic menu with pizza, burger, and sandwiches. Nice bar/beer. Casual dress and fine service. Food all eh. They open for lunch, where many (most? of the town's restaurants are only open for dinner (which is odd since a good chunk of the cities visitors are from the cruise ships with time to kill and money to spend . Good restaurant with very friendly staff. the food was good. the only thing I didn't like was that the wal carpaccio was covered with sauce, so it was almost impossible to get a good taste of the wals. our other plates where we have done right!
Great restaurant with a great svalbard ambiente! the burger was fantastic.

Svalbard's restaurants are not great for vegans, but Kroa has a couple of vegetarian options on the menu which can be made vegan. There was no fuss when I asked. I had the Indisk dal. The portion was large and tasty.
