Yummy Korean Food. Awesome Korean food! I am a huge fan of their Beef Bulgogi and their Jap Chae (Potato Noodles). The side dishes that come with your meal are always different and really tasty. Very good!. I had lunch here the other day with a coworker. It was very good. I has something off the regular menu, very similar to a sweet/sour chicken (white meat) tempura, it had a bit of heat. It was very good and, at $14, was more than I could eat, espcially with the six sides! I'd come back again.
First time trying Korean. April 04, 2010 Likes it <br/ <br/ I was impressed with my first try at Korean food. Off of a recommendation from one of my Korean students, my husband and I took off to Korea House at 9:00 on a Saturday. I let the waitress know that I have never tried it before and she was helpful in pointing out two beef dishes that 'everyone gets. ' We chose the spareribs and a hot pot of rice, veggies and beef. We also ordered a dumpling appetizer. The appetizer was good, but nothing new. But then the food came out... It was delicious. The spareribs were so flavorful that I didn 't mind them being chewy; it just meant I was able to eat the longer. The hot pot was a surprising delight. It was sizzling and an egg was cracked over top. We stirred everything together and it cooked in the pot. The rice became deliciously crunchy on the bottom. The accentuating kim chi was not really necessary to the experience, but we tried them all anyway. The only strange part was that the waitress wanted us to pay so that they could cash out the register at 9:30. The sign on the door proclaimed that they were open till 10:00, but they seemed to be in a hurry. But, whatever, we paid and left with ten minutes to spare before closing time.
Consistently Good!. Yesterday was the third time at Korea House and we were very satisfied again with the service and quality of the food. Our waiter was very attentive, our drinks (water, barley water and iced tea) were refilled without asking and he would adjust the grill and turn the meat while we were eating. They are very gracious and looking around the room it appeared that the other guest were equally satisfied with their experience.
Very good food. We have visited quite a few Korean restaurants in different cities. Korea House is most certainly one of the best.No frills Just first rate food and quick professional service. The 'cook yourself tables ': are sure winners. For the prices you just can 't go wrong.
