El Fuego Latino - Longwood

During my first visit, I tried the duofongo with garlic shrimp and a spicy beef empanada. The empanada was quite enjoyable; the beef had great flavor and was generously filled. The duofongo was also good, though I found the garlic butter sauce a bit overpowering, which masked some of the other flavors. Overall, it was still a pleasant experience, and I definitely plan to return!

Love this place very very fresh I go to high end place all the time, this was better then them and fresh and cheap. Two people with two beers and a soda $28.67

This is a really good place! El Fuego Latino is an unassuming, family owned restaurant that offered us a surprisingly tasty meal. It’s a walk up counter ordering type place, but don’t let that throw you off. The service and the quality of the food are both very high. Yes, it’s informal, but that and the casual friendliness help make you feel like one of the family. We plan to go back to try much more of the menu. The beef stew, yellow rice with vegetables, and sweet plantains convinced us this restaurant is worth visiting again!

This restaurant is closed. I'm giving it 1 star to warn others not to make the same mistake I did by looking forward to Puerto Rican food only to find the place shut down. Their listing needs to be updated.
