Bayridge Sushi - Longwood

Used to be our favorite place to come and eat sushi and my last 4-5 times have become worse and worse. usually the service saves the food but today the service was worse than it ever has been. It started with the hostess not being very friendly or welcoming, just got two of you? and our server Apibet was one of the worst servers i have ever had. I was sat with a dirty napkin and asked for another, never received it multiple times, even went as far as putting the fork down for my salad ON the dirty napkin. brought the wrong order to the table then brought my own order out in sections. overall this place is getting worse and worse, please save your time and patience and find somewhere else to eat sushi.

100% recommend any lover of Japanese food to come and visit Bayridge Sushi! The food is always delicious and the servers are always on point and courteous. The bento boxes have generous portions and are full of flavor. The sushi is very delicious and plated beautifully.

I recently visited Bayridge Sushi, and while the experience had its highlights, it also left a lot to be desired. The restaurant itself is elegant and impeccably clean, creating a comfortable atmosphere that sets high expectations for the meal. The food did not disappoint—most of it, anyway. I was especially impressed with the ramen. While it’s not the best ramen I’ve ever had, and certainly doesn’t make it into my top five, it was still quite good. The portion size was one of the largest I've been served, which was a pleasant surprise. The flavors were satisfying, and the ingredients seemed fresh. However, the service was where the experience fell short. Our server was incredibly polite and friendly, but the wait times between his visits to our table were excessively long. Despite his warm demeanor, the delays became frustrating as the meal dragged on. What should have been a quick dining experience turned into a two-hour ordeal, which is far longer than I’ve ever spent even at a buffet. It’s disappointing when good food is overshadowed by poor service. In summary, Bayridge Sushi offers a nice ambiance and tasty food, but the slow service is a significant downside. If you decide to visit, be prepared to spend a lot more time than you might expect. With some improvements in service speed, this place could easily become a top choice, but for now, it’s a mixed bag.
