What Pops W doesn't like about The Jalapeno Tree:
Chain restaurant food. Cheese enchiladas were unmelted American cheese wrapped in tortillas covered in sauce. Stay away from the tortilla soup tastes really odd. This is fine if you enjoy bland, poorly prepared food but if you're looking for good tex-mex you might want to look somewhere else. Great food... great service as usual! Waitress was very attentive and our food came fast, correct and hot!
Definitely a good place to find good Spanish cuisine. Hosts and servers always are curious and friendly. The food is hot a and served as prompt as possible. A nice environment to take the kids, friends, and family for a good meal.
Definitely my go-to restaurant every time I am in East Texas. The staff is friendly and provide excellent service, even in the post-Covid stress of short staffing. Can't beat their green sauce!!!
