Good food, bad service. I enjoy the food here, it is full of taste and has tons of choices! However, the dishes do not contain rice, but earlier. The waitresses are never friendly and definitely not in a hurry to serve us. I usually have to make sure that I don't have to be a few where after. I usually get the chicken with chili garlic, very good. View all feedback.
What Harpoonarooney doesn't like about Hart C's Jumbo Steakburgers & Thai Cuisine:
Having only seen the place from the street, and seeing a customer walk out munching a hamburger, one thought: Thai?! But I am soo glad I stopped in!! Wow!! Such great food. Pictures help greatly. And readers, if you 've ever listened to the friendly banter happening behind the scenes, their laughter is contagious! It CLEARLY is a family run business, and dishes are served just like (I can only imagine) they would at... View all feedback.
I've been coming here since I was a kid. Their chicken panang in peanut sauce, egg rolls, and jumbo steakburgers have been a staple for me every time I come to town. Love this place.
Always a friendly face and great food. The peanut Chicken and rice is a family favorite.
Excellent service! Tom Millhouse was professional, Courteous and a very nice person! -Rob Bardonski
Casual atmosphere seat yourself, that is once you get in the hard to open door. My table felt sticky on the corner, so I moved closer to the wall,: no frills or tablecloths nor even paper placemats the prices charged don't justify the lack thereof. Water is city water didn't taste good. The menu is served along with a photo book, of which a lot of the photos didn't look very complimentary I should've left then. But being very hungry, I stayed, tried... was regretful. They have daily specials, of which are still available everyday, all at the same price! That's about the best part of my review. I ordered the Friday special The sauces, both the sweet sour sauce as well as the brown sauce had metallic tastes to them thin runny. The sweet sour chicken: at least the chicken wasn't breaded, but what I thought to be zucchini, turned out to be cucumber! I'm not fond of cooked cucumber : I enjoyed the pineapple baby corn, but the 2 pieces of tomato was uncommon, I grew up Hawaii) eating a lot of sweet sour. The mushroom chicken had very few mushrooms, but quite a bit of onion, as did the sweet sour. The chicken fried rice wasn't fried at all, had 1 little piece of meat no veggies. There was way too much soy sauce used to make the rice, leaving me thirsting for water; so glad I had a bottle of water in my car. The egg roll was overcooked mushy within, also not very tasty. No bill given: walk to the register where a little sign notified of a fee for using a card to pay with. I will not be a repeat customer, but instead will drive a bit further into downtown for other Thai food restaurants that make far superior food.
We've been here a few times but not often. We usually go elsewhere for thai food because service is a little sketchy. It's definitely a family run place and that's not a negative. It actually can be great. We were told to seat ourselves. The restaurant was pretty empty with only one person at the bar and one couple in a booth. Once seated we waited and waited for server to finish his conversation with the person at the bar. Eventually he did and then walked to the fella seated after us. We continued to wait. Eventually he showed up with menus. Thank goodness for that. By the time the order was put in, it was delivery time was fine. Again, with plates stacked up at the end we waited and waited for the server. This place was not busy. He was jusy busy socializing. Food was okay but I doubt we'll ever return again.
