with all the construction in montreal, my friend and i opted to try a recommendation from a friend in longueuil les dur a cuire. looked at the menu online, and knew exactly what type of wine i should bring. The terasse might need plants or a little warmth but the inside of the restaurant is nice. I ordered the lobster tortellini and my friend the crispy polenta, 2 amazing dishes, flavours and presentation. they only... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Dur a Cuire:
Very buzzing place, like eating inside a crowd of people continuously moving about to check in, out, toilets OMG. The noise is 'brasserie' like to say the least. Food is way too salty... And seems to be consistently salty all the time. Appears to be nice for lunch, but for dinner count me out View all feedback.
I had a bad experience at this restaurant. The customer service was lacking, they didn't make any accommodations for food allergies, and the bread was extremely dry. Out of a party of 5, only two of us enjoyed our meals. Additionally, the bathrooms were very dirty, similar to those in a nightclub. I would not recommend this place.
My favorite spot in Old Longueuil, filled with fond memories from our time living in Montreal. I am thrilled that they have managed to remain open despite the challenges of Covid-19. Treat yourself and pay them a visit.
I enthusiastically recommended this restaurant to my friends and they loved it. I am a frequent visitor and am always impressed with the delicious food and efficient, friendly staff. Every time we dine here, we have a fantastic evening. I highly recommend this place.
Portions are kinda small pricey, but very tasty. Bring your own bottle of wine. Place is very busy may need to reserve the table in advance
Small place for the taste lovers : the food is an art made with love for each plate.
