Love the place, food, etc. Service is excellent! Have been a few times and each time was excellent. Also go with my 96 yr old mother in law with a walker and never had any issues. She was always treated promptly and with lots of respect. We have also done a couple of B-Days and turned out very good. View all feedback.
What rosyroyale doesn't like about Ben & Florentine:
Menu portions are huge, no doubt, but the kids menu is for kids under 5, as my 7 and 9 year olds weren't filled up with their orders. The benedict is great, their smoked salmon is excellent. The major drawbacks here are that they don't give real maple syrup and if you want some you gotta pay up. As well, their whipped cream is out of a can nasty. The service is great and the atmosphere is clean, but it would serve th... View all feedback.
Our waiter was amazing, very welcoming and efficient. The food was delicious with a lot of variety to choose from. It was a great experience and I will return in the future.
It was my first time eating at a Ben and Florentine chain. The food was comparable to other breakfast chains, maybe a little bit more expensive for the amount of food but not by much. There are small differences from others in that they have apple compote in their standard plates and their toasts are generously buttered. Chhay, our server, was very efficient, courteous, and proactive (constantly refilling our coffees). No complaints!Kid-friendliness: There was a reasonable distance from other tables even with highchairs. In other places I’ve been to, it can get cramped with a highchair since the tables are placed too clise to each other.
I ordered a veggie skillet . The skillet was cold. The food was cold. I asked for a coffee refill which she never did even though the restaurant was quiet. But she kept bringing other stuff to our table and asking the others if they needed anything. When we asked for the bill, then she said i forgot your coffee. So i told her forget it, we are done. But for her tip, she went off and brought it in a to-go cup. I left it there. Not impressed with her. I felt she was racist.
Went to B&F around 12pm on a Thursday. End of the breakfast rush, around 10 tables total seated. Took the Florentine Eggs Benedict and my mom took a classic Egg with bacon and sausage. The food was great but it took VERY LONG to be served, VERY LONG to receive our order, and VERY LONG to receive our bill (I went to stand near the kitchen to grab our waitresses' attention despite having met Jones we needed to leave at 12:45 AND having asked for the bill at 12:30 while we still had the plates on the table....
We went to this restaurant for Father’s day with 2 kids and service was excellent. Every employee we interacted with was friendly and helpful even with a full house. It looks like the dining room was recently renovated, the new decor is nice and modern. As for food it’s the typical brunch options. Portions were generous.
