It is conveniently located within walking distance of seve... read more The food is delicious, the atmosphere is relaxed, and the portions are very generous at The Woolshed. It is conveniently located within walking distance of several motels near the Qantas Museum and Stockman's Hall of Fame. While many motels in the area have not reopened their restaurants due to staff shortages, The Woolshed, located on the edge of the caravan park, is in a great location.

Even... read more Our first night in Longreach and we didn’t want to venture far for dinner. The Woolshed is located right at the Longreach Tourist Park so walking distance. Even though it was fully booked, the lovely staff squeezed us in for a 5.30 booking. We chose the rump steak and pork ribs, which came with coleslaw chips and corn. Absolutely amazing, steak was cooked to perfection, service was speedy too. Some menu items were not available but there were still plenty to choose from. Thanks to the Woolshed staff, awesome!
