La Rose De L'inde - Longjumeau

The best Indian restaurant around. Excellent plain or cheese noodles, tender and tasty chicken, saffron rice, everything is really very good. We enjoy it every time. Special mention for the butter chicken. In addition, the welcome is warm.

Situated in the center of the old town of Longjumeau, a suburb south of Paris, not too far from the Orly Airport, La Rose de L'Inde offers an outstanding experience of gourmet Indian cuisine at bargain price. Start with their cheese nan, it's so good, it is addictive. The mixed samosa plate for appetizer, is excellent but so copious, you will want to share it with others. I ordered the Lamb Madras. The menu warned that it was very spicy but it was absolutely right for my taste and great with their saffron rice. The Rose de L' Inde desert, a honey- based pastry flambé with Cointreau was just divine. I strongly recommend the Saumur-Chamigny wine, at 19 Euro for the bottle, it is a steal!

Gérant très accueillant. Excellente cuisine. Service rapide et ambiance agréable. Je recommande. Nous y sommes allés en demandant à être servis rapidement pour assister ensuite à un événement au théâtre Adolphe Adan, et nous avons été satisfaits.
