L'escale - Longeau-Percey

We had dinner here and it was excellent ! First course a lovely salad which included some water melon and lettuce had a lovely dressing on it . Second course delicious escalope of veal with a pepper sauce, veg and chips . Very good portion and attractively served . Sweet a platter of mini desserts meringue,ice cream,fruit tartlet, lemon meringue , eclair,profiterole etc. Compliments to the chef Absolutely delicious definitely recommend!

I am difficult to cater for due med problems but the meal was great, more than enough, and there was a range of typical French dishes.

Asked him if he thought this kind of humour was acceptable. Mentioned bad service Offered steak, but no appetite anymore Accepted plate of chips I think it was the manager who came out onto the terrace to apologise. Drank two pints of lager during the whole saga at €5.00 each normal price, so no worries) And was charged €19.00 for the pleasure Complained again and it was reduced to €18.00 So I really don't think I will ever be at L,Escale in Longeau ever again. If I could give no stars I would do it.

Accueil chaleureux, très bonne cuisine et plats copieux à des prix très abordables. La serveuse et le patron sont très sympas : on se sent immeuble chez soi ! Allez-y !
