Had a really good meal tonight in Viento. Looks to die. Danielle our server was excellent, helpful and bubbly Charcuterie Board was superb, a really thoughtful selection of cheese and meat with delicious accompaniments The Brathühner escaped was very good and there was no problem avoiding a page overall, a really pleasant evening and would like to recommend and return View all feedback.

Delicious Cesar salad and laundry board. Margarita would have been perfect if she hadn't spilled me. The server apologised to spill about 1/4 of the drink on me and the table, but did not even offer me a new drink or additional napkins to help me clean up. Other than that, beautiful place. We stayed in Zota for 3 nights and ate here several times. The breakfast buffet is good and economical. Dinner is very good. We had the grouper, snapper, roasted chicken (with excellent risotto) and shrimp with grits. Quite a lot tried everything on the menu. The seafoods were fresh and well prepared, comparable or better than the other chic restaurants in Longboat key (we went to others in the area)
We tried to eat in this restaurant tonight after we looked into the hotel. We started sitting at a table and immediately serving the table next to our salads. I said, uh, I don't think these are ours when the waiter who broke the food ignored my words. We gave them to the table next to us and laughed at the mistake. Then we waited and waited. At last our waiter appeared and hurried some water. Then never again. We finally flew a waiter and he accidentally took our order. Then we waited and waited.. and waited again. Nothing. No drinks. No food. So I finally come out of my chair to find the waiter to tell him if our food was brought into the kitchen (which I doubt) to simply end and quit. He was super rude for me and my family. I ask the manager who was super rude and 100% unapologetic at the time. If this was a real luxury facility, would they have offered to send at least our food up into our room? This is our first night in the hotel and instead of starting my holiday with a nice meal, do we eat porridges from the snack room below? Make yourself a favor and skip the disappointment of this place
Last minute audible during busy season on Longboat Key. We had a quick response for short notice reservations and then were expertly greeted under the portico by valet. They told us how to bypass them which we did. We were seated immediately outside as requested and treated to a wonderful night of service and food. Nicole was personable and responsive. There was value for price and we were all happy with the experience. We?ll be sharing this find with family who visit Longboat Key bi-annually. They could benefit greatly by adding roadside signs and better directional lobby signs. Google says they?re in a Hilton and they?re in the Zota Beach Resort. Perhaps that?s a recent development.
