Another West Coast trip, another dinner at Euphemia Haye Restaurant ... And another great experience Started with the sweet and spicy shrimp... Sorry, no photos, we inhaled them. The finish on the grill gave an excellent texture and flavor. Then their famous Cesar salad... Awesome, as always. My better half had the Chicken Florentine... Outstanding... Older clientele with dated menu. Thought it missed some lighter fare as well as more seafood being close to shore. They take pride in the establishment but felt it was stuck in time that needed some updated menu offerings. Also seating was very tight. And it was not crowded but we were put in the corner. Wonderful experience. We hadn't been here for about 30 years, it's still a wonderful experience, with a menu full of old vintage classics and creative new dishes. Top-notch ingredient quality, very skilled and creative chef, gorgeous setting.
One of my favorite hideaways. Dessert bar is award worthy....
This is such a cute and cozy restaurant is sarasota. The service is on point, and the menu is very appetizing. I usually go for the steak and duck ?

I had the Pepper Steak and my wife had the Pecan Crusted Snapper, both were excellent. For desert we had the deep dish apple pie with ice cream and we don't usually eat desert but this was so good we ate the whole thing.
