I came here with a party of 6 and 2 little pups after a hike in HackleBarney Trails they were very friendly and accommodating. We sat in their outdoor seating area and it was very cute and cozy. The food was also really good. We had Quesadillas, Carne Asada, Bistec Encebollado, and Fajitas. We all cleaned our plates! What Nicole Marie Capponi doesn't like about La Rienda:
Very disappointed! The food was mediocre very overpriced for not being good. Ceviche was basically tuna fish lettuce. Food was bland. Chips were the best part. Spent 70 for 2 people...waste of . Atmosphere was dirty. Holes in the walls needs to be painted. Service was okay. First last time I will ever be here again. View all feedback.
I visited this restaurant with a group of six and two small dogs after hiking at HackleBarney Trails, and the staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed the charming and cozy outdoor seating area. The food was excellent – we ordered Quesadillas, Carne Asada, Bistec Encebollado, and Fajitas, and we all finished every plate! Everything was delicious, and our waitress frequently checked in to ensure we were having a great experience. I would definitely return if I’m in the area!
The food was excessively salty, the service was poor, and the waiter refused to accept the Yelp coupon that is advertised online. I would recommend avoiding this restaurant.
I am very disappointed! The food was mediocre and extremely overpriced for its quality. The ceviche was essentially just tuna and lettuce. The flavors were bland, and the only highlight was the chips. We spent $70 for two people, which I feel was a total waste. The atmosphere was unclean, with holes in the walls that clearly need painting. The service was just okay. This will be my first and last visit to this restaurant.
Authentic and a lovely atmosphere! Fresh and clean eating walking distance from historic district...
Picked this spot on a whim on our way home to Hunterdon County, and we are so happy we did! Everything was so fresh and delicious and you could tell it was homemade. The Steak a la Mexicana was spicy and flavorful with tender steak, the Carne Adobada was chargrilled and delicious, and my seven year old was raving about the kids quesadilla. We also really enjoyed the guacamole and queso fundido appetizers. Do not miss the homemade salsas and hot sauces! And of course- a margarita!
