Have been a number of times and really enjoy it. A nice friendly land lady and lovely Guiness too. I wish it was nearer to where I lived, 170 miles is a long way from Durham. View all feedback.
What Terry Whitehead doesn't like about The Jolly Crispin:
Nice friendly pub ,but the menu posted on here needs updating. We read the reviews saw the menu and thought ,looks good we'll drive out . The food on offer was basket meals . Basically scampi and chips , sausages and chips fish and chips. They weren't very big portions and were quite expensive so we didn't bother with the food ..disappointing. View all feedback.
Lovely old fashioned pub as its one of the few real pubs left! Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

A great village pub. Nice feeling around the village.
Lovely warm atmosphere. Simple food but cooked well. Well kept beer. Lovely.
