Bierocracy - Long Island City

We came to watch a soccer match, what a great spot!

It was nice, but very slow. Service was soooo slow and the night wasn't even that busy... not sure what's the problem

1 OF MY GUESTS' ORDERS WAS MISSED COMPLETELY AND SHE HAD TO WAIT AN EXTRA 15 MINS FOR HER MEAL. THE WAITRESS COMPED HER MEAL. THE WAITRESS ALTHOUGH NICE, DIDN'T KNOW SOME BASICS, LIKE THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN WHITE AND DARK MEAT. SERVERS NEED MORE BASIC TRAINING. BEER SELECTION IS GREAT. THE PRETZELS ARE GOOD. MY FRIEND SAID THE SHRIMP GRITS WAS GOOD. THE SRIRACHA SAUCE FOR THE CHICKEN AND WAFFLES NEEDS LESS SRIRACHA AND A LITTLE MORE MAPLE SYRUP. OVERALL IT WAS A DECENT MEAL.

Bierocracy could be a great bar, but it's not because the service is terrible. I've been there twice and both times I couldn't get someone to take my drink order for the life of me. I want to say the owner should probably keep tabs on the wait staff, but considering this seems normal here I'm gonna say the owner probably doesn't care. BUT I do like bierocracy because they always seem to have a ton of seating (due to the bad service) so if you have a giant group it's not a terrible place to go. They do sell liter pitchers which is great because you just need to be able to order once and you'll have enough beer until someone checks up on you again if they check up on you again. It's also kind of great if you don't like to drink, because there's no pressure to order since no one is taking your order. So if you just want to chill and not order anything it's the place to be!
