In December 2017, my daughter celebrated her 5th birthday at The Sportsman, and it was absolutely fantastic! The lovely landlady, Amanda, organized everything beautifully. There was great entertainment, a high-quality buffet, professional and friendly staff, and a lovely, functional space. Everything was just perfect! We will definitely return and highly recommend it. I just had my daughter 6th birthday party here! the place in the beautiful and beautiful lights are perfect claire behind the bar was beautiful and helpful! highly recommended the sportsman for every event! we used the le dj glitter package and it could not have been better. more than 5 stars! if they think about the book...DO it!
Had a brilliant joint 50/60th birthday party in the function room. Many of our guests commented on the high quality of the buffet provided and George, the resident DJ, did a great job!

Hired the room for my birthday last night and the staff did a great job in serving my friends and family. My guests loved the room and enjoyed the night.
