Mj's Restaurant Bar Grill - Long Branch

Great karaoke.Grilled Shrimp salad was very yummy. Staff is friendly Great table service by our waiter. Fast forward to July 6 The shrimp salad was mostly a pile of greens with shrimp. Very disappointing. September 14, great karaoke and good service.

I honestly wouldn?t even give them one star. The bartenders are awful, the only time we got anything we wanted was if we flagged them down, and the bar was dead. They were more about socializing, phones, and cleaning glasses. When we complained to them, the bartender got an attitude. First time ever we didn?t tip, I am a former server and bartender, would never do that. My husband will never ever go there again! Food was mediocre, my husband hates it.

We frequent this location because we live in the neighborhood and was excited that an MJ?s opened up nearby. It was great until it wasn?t? and tonight definitely was not! We ordered 2 classic cheeseburgers with smoked Gouda and instead we received 2 mushroom burgers with smoked Gouda. I told the bartender we didn?t order anything with mushroom and that we wanted classic cheeseburgers with smoked Gouda. And she insisted that that was what we ordered and she gave the other

Horrible. It took 15 mins on a Tuesday at 12:30pm to be acknowledged. Our bartender Anna was extremely distracted. Our food came out and my meal was not there. She blamed it onthe kitchen and the amount of patrons at the restaurant however I disagree. It took 40 mins for the meals to come out and we'll done items were cold. Used to be the Sitting Duck.. MJs gutted the place and made it a somewhat sterile sports bar. I had the Chile which was quite good but came without chips or crackers that I had to ask for. The chicken wrap was good and was served with 'homemade ' potato chips. Mmmm
