What User doesn't like about Mcloone's Pier House:
My mother and I had lunch here on a weekday, and it was just average. We've been visiting for years, but the food didn't taste the same as it used to. We always order the crab tower, which was good, but it didn't seem as fresh as it had in the past. Perhaps the hot weather affected the meal, making it less enjoyable. On the bright side, the service was friendly, and the view is always fantastic. View all feedback.
Nice place in a very busy area of Pierre Village. Surprisingly, the service is fast and the food is fresh. The presentation is also very nice. Visit a visit, especially if you are sitting near the window and enjoying the views of the sea.
Service is horrendous No acknowledgement what so ever We sat down, gave our orders, got our food, but no utensils or plates. Was difficult to find our waiter to take away our finished dishes, there was no space on our table. Took a long time to put in another drink order. Had to wave him down so many time to ask for check but he was like tunnel vision not looking out way. Food was good but the drinks were fantastic. It was a Saturday, yes they were swamped. But a little acknowledgement would be nice I 'll be right with you but nothing. Live music was so beautiful! It was very nice vibes. Please train your staff common courtesy. I would have left a two or three star review. I believe the staff attitudes can be changed and properly trained.
My hubby and I stopped in for an early dinner and I can say that we will be back!! We shared everything and left feeling extremely satisfied. For starters we had the drunken clams and I would have them again and again. The wedge salad was fresh and delicious with just the right amount of dressing. For our entree (I forgot to get a photo) we had linguini with attitude and it was really good!! There is metered parking in Long Branch. The atmosphere was great as we had ocean views. Service was good as well.
Went for Sunday brunch with family and although a bit pricey, definitely worth it. Huge selection of food, served buffet style, and it was fresh tasting and delicious. Staff was regularly putting new trays of food out and there were so many options it's almost impossible to try everything they had to offer. My only real con was mimosas were not unlimited! Will be going back!
Visited Mcloone?s for my wives birthday last week. The view was amazing the music was perfect the service was on point and attentive the food was delicious and the mixed drinks were top tier! Even the manager was awesome he stopped by our table a few times to make sure everything was perfect! It was a little pricey but definitely worth it. Definitely will return when in the area again and recommend for anybody visiting Long Branch NJ.
