Ordered delivery pizza arrived room temp. Not hot at all! driver brought it to the door with out the warming bag?? Not sure if it ever made it into a warming bag that's how warm it was. Also a very very thin pizza. too thin for my taste. View all feedback.

This used to be my favorite local place to get Italian. Whenever friends visited, I would take them. It was great. I understand though that it's under new management (still in the family though). Ever since the menu change, I've been supremely underwhelmed by the quality of food. We went there to eat a couple weeks ago it definitely wasn't the food that I was used to. And it's been going downhill for about the last 6 months or so. Today, I was running late coming home from work my mom invited me over. She was going to order some Freddie's. She looked over the menu online wanted baked ziti. Something she's been eating there for over 20 years. She called to order was told it's not on the menu. She also went to order fettuccini Alfredo with chicken. She picked up the food got home. The fettuccini Alfredo was actually penne. So, she called and let them know they got the order wrong (and wanted a credit for the chicken). When she called they told her they didn't actually have fettuccini, the only pasta they have is penne and the person who put the order in forgot the chicken. Very dissatisfied, and we'll probably be finding a new place to grab take out from now on.
The pizza is great but sadly, my experience at this restaurant did not meet my expectations. I was very disappointed because the pizza here is my FAVORITE but the service ? Not so much. We were greeted in a timely matter and received our pizza quickly but while eating, our waitress did not ask if the food came out ok or if we needed refills. I waited about 15 minutes to see if someone would ask me if I wanted a refill and no one ever did. I finally asked someone who wasn't my waitress because it was getting ridiculous. When I finally got my water, they gave us the bill too. We were waiting about ten minutes for her to come collect our card and she never did. We were tempted to just walk up to her and give her the card, but we just gave it to another waiter. We were so annoyed at this point. I can't deny that their food is delicious, but they need to work on their costumer service; it's horrible.

My friend got the gnocchi special and loved it as well. Our crab cake special appetizer, Italian calamari, and antipasto salad were also really good. Lastly, the cake batter tiramisu was definitely a pleasant update to the menu as well! It was fantastic! If you're a longtime-comer like me, don't be afraid to step out of your comfort zone with the new menu. It's definitely worth it!
Really excellent experience at Freddie's. The pizza was very good. Thin crust, but the bottom of the pizza was firm and crisp. It did not get soggy at all like thin crust pizzas often do. We got an extra large prosciutto and spinach pizza and it hit the spot. Just enough for two. The service really put this place over the top. The restaurant was decently busy, and our waitress had multiple tables but was more than attentive and very positive. John, who we assumed to be the owner, engaged our large group in great conversation and made us feel very welcome. Would definitely come back next time I'm at Long Branch Beach.
