Food was good for the price but the service was horrendous. Waiter was clearly in the weeds the entire time, more so an Avenue problem if you ask me. Our table was amazing and the person who sat us did go the extra mile to ensure we had a romantic view of the ocean so kudos for that! What steves tasayco p doesn't like about Avenue:
It was very cold in the restaurant and uncomfortable. The Food was Horrible. My Wife and I had steaks which were tough and tasteless . I will be sure not to return to this restaurant ever again. Glad I went during this week so I didn't have to pay full price for this meal View all feedback.

What a great restaurant. I always wanted to get in, as it looked like a nice place from the outside and the French menu changed a bit what we usually find in the opposite. we went on a Tuesday for the prix fixe menu, daily for limited hours, but is all day on Tuesdays. my man got the Prix fixes and I just ordered and tempted because I didn't want to eat so much. well, that was my mistake, like the beet and goat cheese starter he had, plus the amazing cream broth with black johannisbeeren dessert (that I might have been a healthy amount of the extra calorie worth. in fact we had both stakfriten and the difference between the size of his and mine was negligible. I will not say that was a cheap meal, but the prix fixe was a good value for absolutely perfect eating. (I will say, although the oysters are not much to write home, but they have no control over how tasty they are. they were fresh and beautifully presented. we didn't even finish the meal before I said I would like to go there in 6 weeks. it is a stylish but irresistible and friendly place to which I cannot wait.
This place was once a great place to eat delicious food and spend a special time. the last night was none of them. the ambiente was nice, but it wasn't as good as it was before. the otopus was the favorite dish of my wife, but this time it was hard and strongly salted. the aubergine blossom was beautiful, but cold. When the main court came for her, it was the escape. that was no escape, they presented her a duck wing and a half of a red cabbage on a teller. my dinner was the ave burger. this was disappointing because the textures were good, but there was no seasoning added. Of course we have to take a break here. Hopefully, your experience is better than ours.
Great food. great service. great location. a little loud because of a private party. elaborate.
