Great people great food. I had the pleasure of visiting Bowker's Deli and meeting the owners to Hurricane Sandy, and I would be amiss if I didn't say they were the most gracious and just all around great people. Not only do they feed all volunteers working around the clock to restore the island to their former glory, but they helped to give a hand to the community they call home! What Dranixo doesn't like about South Beach Grill:
My wife and I went here on a Saturday afternoon and she ordered the French toast and I ordered the cheese steak they both looked alright but as we opened them up my cheesesteak looked something out of a lunch cafeteria and her French toast looked like something they pulled out of the trash along with the syrup that had chunks of old syrup floating around in it this place was extremely expensive especially for a steak... Food is good, service is great. try the cheese steak while down at the shore.
The hardest working man on the island. We went down to Holgate to walk the beach and grabbed some great breakfast sandwiches. Great food and coffee and a chill atmosphere. Will definitely head back soon.Food: 5/5
Great family owned/operated deli. Got a breakfast sandwich and a hero for later. Both were very good. Friendly kids working that morning.Parking: Better get early but it's takeout mostly and there is a parking lot just a short walk away.
A wonderful little, corner deli and grocery store. Friendly, and great sandwiches. LOVE their t-shirts too!
Local, family owned, deli/cafe/baked goods. Always friendly, simple menu but good food.Parking: Only a couple of spots out front and be careful when backing out you don't hit anyone. There's parking on either side street though.
