If you like mediocre food then this is probably the place for you. Took such a long time to get our food, and when it did come, a huge disappointment. Got one of the worst steaks I have ever ordered. Asked for it medium, it...came back basically well done with no flavour. The garlic bread also was over cooked and flavourless. The chicken curry soup was also mediocre. Don't think I will be back. Along with our friends, we had a wonderful experience enjoying the rustic décor and well prepared menu selections. The Roadhouse Burger I had featuring Bison was very tasty. The service was very friendly and quick. We were well looked after for the time we were...there. Even though this is promoted as a pub, we did not sense a pub atmosphere where we were seated. When in the Mile House/Lone Butte area, this is the place to check out.
The Iron Horse is a classic, beautiful pub with gorgeous, generous pub food that is not the boring old same but offers solid dishes PLUS something more adventurous if one feels like it. You can not get it wrong if you eat there!
Stopped in for a quick coffee and light lunch. Fast, friendly service with a smile, good coffee and a delicious lunch. Perfect. I had the fish chips, done beautifully. Everything was fresh and very tasty.
Food was great, service was quick and friendly, and tables were well spaced apart. Definitely recommend and we will return when in the area.
