Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

Service was a little slow due to lack of employees which is unfortunate and understanding. Otherwise it was really good!

Something has changed... but not in the right direction ! 1- Today 's pancakes were terrible, flat, and tasted like old oil. I asked for bananas....and no bananas ! Maybe the kitchen staff can go Market Basket and buy a few bananas no ? 2- The lady at the welcome desk needs to articulate...it 's urgent, can 't understand her at all ! Secondly, she announced that water or else was spilled on the floor where we are supposed to be seated and asked if we would be ok to sit there....we said yes...expecting someone to mop. Many tables free but no...we 've been asked to sit at a table with water under. Aren 't you supposed to mop ? Apparently, no....nobody has mopped the area. You might have said you are short in staff but still.... Our waiter was very friendly and professional....and loud

Breakfast stop while driving down to Providence. Great food and friendly staff. The food was nice and so was the mocha coffee we ordered. The wait was about 30 minutes on a Sunday morning.

Party of 4 one toddler 2 adults and 1 child. Our niece ordered the Mac and cheese from the adult menu and got a kid size! I ordered a steak medium rare and got medium well! I could've made a better steak at home. Our niece won't complain, that's just how she was raised but we could tell she was still hungry! Waitress was attentive and nice. We shopped in the store a little before we left so that made our niece happy...

I'm not a huge fan of cracker barrel but this time was great. The southern fried chicken was fantastic .The atmosphere I have always liked The wait was crazy though. Service was good but server was a little matter of fact and not totally engaging Price was reasonable. Would recommend
