Thuan Thanh Vietnamese Restaurant

Friends recommended this little restaurant. We went for lunch and when I saw that it was pretty full, it gave me hope for a great meal. Being new to London, I had been craving some good Vietnamese food, as I was missing my friend out west, who makes the best by far! My first opinion is that they should simplify their menu and focus on....say 20 Items...the best of the best...with pictures. Too complicated of a menu! When our orders came they were very appealing to the eye, but a little lacking in the taste department. Good but not great! I had H2 from the menu soup with seafood . Although the broth tasted alright the seafood 2 shrimp, 2 calamari and ??? was not so good! I would not order again. I would go back perhaps and try something else. next time.

I am a huge pad thai person and have been on a quest for the best in London. I came in here to grab Londons best pad thai as the sign out front stated. Not only was it pretty meh but was waay overpriced for a container of just noodles , 5 bean sprouts and chewy chicken (I think it was chicken) If you guys want to see what pad thai is supposed to taste like? Might I suggest ordering some from the Little Panda and fix yours!

When my husband and I want to go out for Asian food this is our favourite. The food is really, really good.

I generally love trying out local restaurants. I wouldn’t go back. Poor service, food was disappointing. Pad Thai, soup, fresh rolls and mango salad. Food lacks love. Table beside us appeared to be doing better, with sizzling platter of fresh veggies. If you do go order that!
