The Works - London

The whole place has an interesting vibe. Decor is a lot of wood, concrete, and chain link, and when the weather is nice, the whole front of the restaurant is open to the sidewalk. I didn't count how many different burgers they have, but suffice it to say that they fill an entire page of the oversized menu. This is not a place to come if you're on a diet -- some of the loaded burgers clock in at 1600 calories or so, though you can do better if you choose carefully (e.g., you do the veggie patty rather than beef and go light on the extras). Everything we had was good. Burgers especially, but also french fried, onion rings, and even the steamed broccoli (yes, someone in our group was feeling a little guilty). Reasonable beer selection also. They keep people moving through the place, so we had only a short wait for a table on Friday night at about 7 PM. Service is efficient. I recommend it.

The burgers at this restaurant are fantastic! I visited on a Saturday night and even though it was quite busy, we were seated right away.

Great but expensive restaurant with a wide variety of options. The food is always served hot with generous portions and tasty flavors. The staff is welcoming and the pricing is transparent. The restaurant is also very clean.
