This is a small place compared to the other Sushi joints in the city. I think that the small size allows the owners to really focus on the customers - I was in yesterday and had excellent service from the owner himself. The food quality was excellent, and the price was super reasonable. If you're looking for a local restaurant to support instead of those big chain restaurants you will be impressed at this place. What User doesn't like about Sushi T&e:
The sushi was mediocre. It was edible, however, there are other restaurants that serve better tasting sushi. The other dishes weren't edible. The chicken was overlooked and a grey-ish colour. The beef was way too salty. They used a cheap oil to cook the tempura and noodle dishes. It affected the taste and texture and left a bad aftertaste. BEWARE!! I ordered through Just Eat and requested that I have nothing spicy (spicy sauce). It was clearly on the order and the receipt they had me sign. 30mins into the order I receive a call from a man saying they did not see that I requested nothing spicy and advised I can cancel my order. I asked them to remake the food as I cannot have anything spicy. The man said that I take the food or they will cancel!! I told the man that I will take it and wipe off the sauce because I have a friend over for dinner. The man was viciously reluctant that I just cancel and they will not remake the food because they close in 30mins (plenty of time to make a few rolls). I called to complain with Just Eat and the amazing customer service rep called Sushi T&E to inquire and she said that they were yelling at her to just cancel the order. NEVER ORDER FROM HERE, there is plenty of other sushi restaurants in London to order from. This place is a disgrace!!!
Before saying anything I will simply say that I am the type of person who doesn't write reviews in tripadvisor or other pages about restaurants. But this time, I feel the need to protect other people, seriously. Place is small, but that is not a problem. Terrible smell from low quality oil was all over the place. Items served are far away from being considered as complete. If it was my first time eating sushi, I promise I would have never eaten again. Quality is very low on everything, from food itself to glasses, spoons and jug of water. "Salad" was 3 leaves of lettuce directly taken from fridge. Chicken was so strong that was not eatable. I had to get full with soup (noodles) because anything else from what we ordered was not "eatable". I 've spent 4 years in London ON, and I have sushi occasionally, so I have tried pretty much any sushi in town. This is *BY FAR* the worst place I have been. As a suggestion to the owners: Please visit some other sushi restaurants in the city and open your eyes... Eating 180 items for ~ $20 (as your golden menu suggests) is not an offer, but a challenge to the customer..

Even though we were the only customers in the restaurant at the time (aka there were many available tables and not a line up of customers), the staff very obviously stared at us to watch us eat. It felt like they were rushing us and wanted us to leave. Would not go back here and would not recommend to others.

The washrooms are a little inconvenient located downstairs, so if you have mobility constraints then that might pose a problem for you.
The restaurant itself isn't large but they can fit quite a few tables inside and they make everything to order, they stagger your food so your not to overwhelmed, and its a great price for the amount of sushi and deep fried delights , they do have a few options for those who do not eat fish either and it quite filling. and the best part is the price its basically 15 $ a person buffet
