We stumbled upon this place when we were looking for a sit down place for dinner. A great choice! Service was friendly and efficient and food was delicious. We didn't want anything heavy so my husband had french onion soup and a garden salad that were both very good. I had the beet salad which was very good as well. What User doesn't like about Practical Henrys Pub & Eatery:
This place has predictably crashed. Had a decent menu, but all those items are gone (Po'boys, Blackened Cajun fish, Hot Brown sandwich), replaced with boring choices, poorly prepared (under-cooked chicken, which was microwaved). Even my choice of beer was flat and not cold! Service was decent, poor waitress tried but need proper food. View all feedback.
After being sent a birthday coupon, we decided to have dinner at Practical Henry's on a Sunday afternoon. The menu had changed and there were a couple of new items that looked interesting. It was a beautiful day to sit on the patio but when I asked for two separate dishes and was told both times they had run out, it was a near thing whether we would ever return. I did choose an item- instead of lobster and shrimp ricotta, I had shrimp risotto. It was very tasty but the biggest treat came at the end. When presented with our bill, they had comped my meal and taken the coupon discount off one of the other meals. Then the manager came out with a fudge brownie for us to share. It turned what might have been a disaster into a delight.Needless to say they saved our future business and left us with a good feeling.Well done. Well done indeed.
Excellent scotch recommendation and very much enjoyed the appetizers and the entrees! Took my two friends out for birthday dinner and have come here often and will return again soon!
Could not find anything on menu appealing Most of wine selection offered off dry or sweet I like very dry and my Chardonnay was not Server was friendly
ScotchScotchScotch offers a phenomenal drink menu that is nearly unmatched in London.
It had been a while since my last visit to Henry's Eatery (now under a new name) and I was aware of their updated menu. With curiosity piqued, we decided to give it another try.
