Used to go to this hidden away neighbourhood Chinese Restaurant when I used to live in the area almost 30 years ago. Moved away and haven't tried it in over 15 years. Worth the drive from North London, although next time I will be sure to eat in as the good smell almost drove me to start eating on my commute back! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Pagoda Palace:
Telephone service the last time was abdominal. The snippy person on the phone insisted what I was trying to order for take out (½ order of Cantonese Chow Mein) was not available even though I have ordered it in the past. Upon trying to discuss this, the woman hung up the phone and blocked my number when I tried to call back. And my family had been customers for many, many years. Delicious. My family loves this place. The sesame chicken is fantastic. Great for take out of the occasional treat to dine in the decor is great. A great family run restaurant.
I was quite impressed with the quality of the food and the service was excellent! The dumplings better than anything I have so far found in London Ontario, they were made from scratch and served piping hot.The chow mien was also excellent, served hot with lots of fresh vegetables and meat. I did not find anything greasy like I have before with other Chinese restaurants. All up I was very happy with the food and the service was delightful.
Food is always prepared quickly and is very good and fresh. Their fried rice has a delicious smokiness to it that my family loves. My favourite Chinese restaurant in London!
Their owner is a saint. Their food is delicious. You can order online for 10% off (which I usually do). Once, the owner of restaurant delivered our food 30 minutes after her store closed so my fiancee didn't have to eat reheated food, as my fiancee was coming home from shift work quite late.
