Issues with overcooked steaks, delayed service, and missing menu pages have been noted. However, some diners still appreciate the experience they have had over the years, enjoying the consistency of the restaurant's offerings. Regulars commend the table-side Caesar salad and the attentive staff. Celebratory occasions such as weddings and anniversaries seem to be well catered to, with desserts like chocolate-covered strawberries adding a special touch to the evening.

This restaurant is perfect for a romantic dinner. They have an amazing selection of wines and the food is both delicious and beautifully presented. I have no complaints or criticisms whatsoever. I will definitely be returning next time I am in town.
The restaurant we visited had a wonderful location, excellent service, and a great ambiance. We were there to celebrate our 50th anniversary and were placed in a charming spot by the fireplace. Our main dishes were delicious and served hot and beautifully presented. We decided to try the table-side Caesar salad, which was made by a friendly and professional young man. Unfortunately, the salad was too vinegary for my taste and I couldn't finish it. The croutons were hard and seemed to be from a box, and the bacon was of lower quality. For $30, we were expecting something different. Despite this, we plan on returning but will steer clear of the salad. To top off our meal, we were given two delightful desserts of chocolate-covered strawberries, a lovely ending to our evening.
Over 30 years ago, when we lived in London, we often ate with Michael 's on the Thames with friends and family. Almost forward 33 years of marriage and back to Bayfield after we had spent 25 years in Whistler, we finally had the chance to see Michael 's again. I don't know what took us so long to return!! My mom and I had a nice evening out on a girl's night. Everything from service, in the atmosphere and of course the food was excellent!! We had such a fabulous experience, we booked a Saturday night in two weeks with my mom and my husband. We recommend Michael 's on the Thames. There's a reason they've been 39 years!
Nice restaurant for a romantic dinner. Excellent wine list. The food was delicious and well presented. Absolutely no complaints or criticisms. Will be back next time.
