Michael's Dining Room - London

Would a rose smell as sweet by any other name? Or, in this case, is the food just as tasty now that Michael's Dining Room on the campus of Western University is called The Green Leaf Cafe? The answer is - Better!Some friends and I had the pleasure of having their Christmas buffet lunch. It was wonderful. Everything was very creative, fresh and delicious. The soups included their award winning Mulligatawny which was just as good as the server said it was. The salads featured a red quinoa and Thai noodle along with the usual Caesar and tossed greens. For the main course you had a choice of turkey or roast pork. Both were delicious. The buffet was constantly re-stocked so there was never a chance of the food not being at its peak. For dessert there was creme brulee, chocolate mousse cake or a fresh fruit cup. The service was attentive and friendly and they went out of their way to accomodate special needs. We have already made plans to return to The Green Leaf Cafe in the near future.

This restaurant does an exceptional job of reminding you of what classic service should be all about.
