Meatballs Sandwich & Spaghetti Shop

I've been coming here with my roommate for 4 years. It was always our go-to Italian sandwich shop. The bread was baked fresh daily and the meat was always high quality. We used to get the lights out sandwich with the works, it was delicious! However, there was a recent ownership change and the quality and taste of the food went down a lot! We were extremely disappointed with our latest two visits, and have since found a new spot for Italian sandwiches. So sad to see such a good thing go bad like that! I'd skip this one until things improve!

I was passing by this mainly take out restaurant, and drawn by aroma of baked meatballs. The owners were sweet couple. The meatballs were huge and delicious.

For a small take out shop they certainly put their time in to doing it right. With almost everything made fresh daily in the restaurant, you can tell they take pride in their product. Had a business associate take me there for lunch and I tried their trademark sandwich the "lights out". With mozzarella, a meatballs, chicken parmesan and veal parmesan on a fresh baked bun this sandwich was to die for. I am now a once to twice a week regular and have used their catering for my office lunch meetings. Sometimes we order sandwiches right from the menu but their made to order lasagna really steals the show. I've even ordered their food delivered for out of town guests at home. Absolutely amazing food with amazing owners.

This place is just average. Nothing exciting about the food. Meatballs are large but lacked the taste that I expected. Hum drum. This restaurant was recommended to my by a friend. Good location. I will try it again in the future. Perhaps I hit it on a not so good day. I expected a lot more from this place.

Wow those r large meatballs ! very quick & very fresh ! Lights out sandwich was so thick , juicy ! large portions ! trendy lil spot to eat ! I will b back with friends!! hopefully we will see this lil shop grow ! If this was at food fest or any London festival I would want to eat at MEATBALLS ! hopefully they can b at an event real soon ! congrats on adding great food to the Forest City ..
