Kawa Sushi - London

This is tucked a stone's throw off Richmond Row on Piccadilly...steps from Oxford and Richmond near Urban Outfitters. Quiet and cosy, the food is fresh and prepared with care by owner chef David. Service quick and respectful. The Udon , sushi and sashimi was delicious as was the spicy crab ramen. Salads available for those who are not fans of Sushi..(there is always one in every crowd). Not licensed but healthy alternatives...kind of refreshing not to have alcohol on the menu. Very reasonably priced. Small patio for the warmer days...locals seem to grab lunch here and they offer a lunch special for delivery to the university. Excellent spot for a quiet business meeting..dividers between tables for intimate privacy. not sure..but believe WIFI is available.

Tried repeatedly and always enjoyed the food. On the latest visit we tried a couple of ramen (the spicy seafood one could peel paper off the wall) and the kawa sushi. Excellent with reasonable prices and an impeccable service. The decor is so-so and pop music does not really help in creating the atmosphere for the numerous couples there. Well done

Went with a group of friends. Small restaurant but very friendly. There was a variety of items to choose from on the menu. We had an assorted tempura plate to start, it was crispy and very good. We each ordered a maki roll and then a ramen bowl.I had a spicy tan tan ramen and it was delicious.The maki rolls (spicy salmon roll and spicy chili salmon roll) were okay.Love that there is a variety of ramen styles to choose from and different sizes.Would go back to try the other kinds of ramen!

From what I can remember from the last time I visited, I initially heard great reviews from a friend about their ramen so I decided to check it out.

I love this place!! One of the only places I know that serve authentic Japanese ramen:) Their sushi's are very tasty here, too.
