I visited on Friday morning with my daughter and ordered exactly what we’d hoped to find that morning: smashed avocado on toast with eggs and bacon for me and pancakes with banana and chocolate for my daughter. Prices too high for the quality of the food. The bacon was so dry that I couldn’t cut, same with the toast, thin and hard. Amazing for gluten-free, such a huge choice!! Very friendly staff, prompt service, delicious fresh food and coffee, wish they were nearer my hometown!!
Nice coffee and snacks, clean, friendly and polite staff. Also dog friendly. They have a new seating area downstairs which is light and lovely, great for weekend brunch.
BAD SERVICE in ways I can’t explain. Rude (the one with a moustache TERRIBLE) what happened? We had breakfast and I went to the counter to pay. I said TWO LATTES AND ONE EGGS WITH SALMON. I saw the amount (31 pounds) and repeat : is this only for two coffees and the eggs? He replied YES. I paid. Asked for the receipt: HE PUT ALL IN MY CARD. Ok no panic. Just refund me and we fix it. The moustache guy(sorry I don’t know his name) said very very rude and looking at us bad: thats Not possible. Speechless. Oh! They charged me the service charge! What kind of service is this ? Never coming back, or my colleagues.
Never had a bad meal at Lola’s, always good home cooked style foods. Very friendly atmosphere and staff. They have takeout, dine in and delivery.
