My partner and I dined at this restaurant as a pre-theater meal, and we had a fantastic time. The ambiance was lively and energetic, and they have a wide selection of tasty gluten-free dishes available on their menu. View all feedback.
What Paula Richards doesn't like about Zizzi - Bankside:
Had to wait nearly 10 minutes for a table despite table reservation for 13.00. And then Had to wait a long time for service- restaurant was full but it seems only 3 staff were looking after whole restaurant. Food was not great: Superfood salad with chicken was not great- Some salad leafs looked rather yellow/wilted. Classic Salami Pizza was ok. Zizzi at Bankside used to be good especially the food. I made a reservation, but the restaurant had no reservation for me. Luckily, they could squeeze me in.
Good location, decent price dinner, although the tomatoes in the salad were directly removed from the refrigerator). Service very slowly considering that the place was half empty.

It was okay, nothing too special and the staff weren't too enthusiastic. Portions get smaller every time I go here, but overall not too bad.
Food took 40 mins. Was lacking in taste and cold in parts. Service was slow because place was understaffed given volume of customers. Waitress was pleasant, friendly and apologetic.
