I came in for dinner last night and the manager on shift find us a table and look after us well. She was very attentive and friendly. We even had time for coffee and desserts. Will definitely be returning. Fantastic service and food. View all feedback.
What Carrie Harris doesn't like about The Warwick:
OK. This is a great pub, excellent selection of drinks and close to Piccadilly Circus. Sadly, our booking hadn't been recognised. The staff were fabulous and did find us a table. Very loud music and for a friends get together, couldn't hear each other so left and ate elsewhere. View all feedback.
Unfortunately, it was a mistake catalog in this restaurant that we arrived and they had 't reserved enough seats for our group so we had to wait for them to reseat to fit us to the table. from the menu they were just one option run out and a single and only eating was an salat. that is unacceptable. we came before Christmas with friends to dinner and we ended with only the possibility to order sandwiches. because there were a limited number of employees (which often were close to texts on their phones or chatting instead of ordering or eating cute sauces. we had to wait a long time until our order is taken, a long time until the food arrives, and we had no other table service except this one. a person in our group received her food after all the others were finished, although we ordered sandwiches and have followed the staff several times. when it arrived, the order was incorrect and missing key content as listed for the article on the menu. As a result, we were told that the sandwich would be removed from the bill, only we found that it was not and we had to make another complain to remove it. despite the above when our bill arrived, we found that a service fee has been added to our bill. I complained and said that we would not pay this in full, taking into account the experience, but there was no excuse. Instead, the waiter laughed and said he understood completely why we don't want to pay it. absolutely inappropriate. when we left, we discovered that the least helpful and rude waitress was actually the manager. they approached us to say we could have visited a free bottle prosecco next. I will not go back, but even if we have done it, they will never fulfill this offer on a wise one. it was pathetic. too little, too late. I will send a complaint to the brewery, which also belongs to this pub shocking. what a embarrassment.
Where do I start? I have booked a table online for Christmas dinner for six people. you will get a call to ask if we can get an hour earlier than the original booking. no problem. in the warwick for the revised time to find a sign at the door that says "closed for public, private party" in the did there was a great Christmas party. telephoned in the inner and was said to go in a next door. no warm welcome, as the people in the party up wondered why 6 “Ohren” interrupt their party! we were down and three employees who did not look unintentionally led us to our table. if one admits that someone would welcome us properly and offer us drinks. After we had taken the attention of a co-worker, we became with “you have to order at the bar” good enough when the policy is. ordered drinks and asked for menus, “Küche closed” was the answer! the manager came by and could not have been colder or unapologetic “We have told the central team not to accept bookings”. unacceptable when they book a table for Christmas dinner, they call to ask if they were an hour earlier to say nothing. I can honestly say that I have never experienced such a terrible greeting and a manager who was not even apologetic to have completely ruined our Christmas dinner. can certainly say, will never visit again and I expect the history of this year's lunch to be overthrown many times.
They ran out at 16 o'clock, so we had to go. very unimpressed as we had booked in advance.
Team Food Event. the food was fabulous many possibilities for the whole group. the service was a little slow, although the pub was not busy. never the second pint. I would definitely recommend the warwick for eating and drinks, but if they are in a hurry order at the bar!
Took 17 minutes to talk to a bartender. There were 4 making 3 drinks and it took them that long. They didn’t know what open table was and had never heard of a 50% discount.
