What Vei Ho doesn't like about The Village Fish and Chips:
I went to this restaurant for the first time to see how good it really was based on reviews. Instead of dining in, I opted for takeaway. The staff were friendly and I didn't have to wait long for my food. I ordered Cod, Haddock, a battered sausage, and chips. The chips were delicious - crispy on the outside and soft in the middle. The battered sausage was also good, with a tasty batter and moist sausage. However, the... View all feedback.
All fish is brought every other day from a fish market in London I believe, so the fish is always so fresh and tasty.
This chip shop is undoubtedly the BEST plaice (pardon the pun) and if I could give it more stars then I would! to get your dose of Fish and Chips! all the

We always order the squid and chips at this restaurant and the squid is consistently large and delicious, with excellent batter. Our friends and family who have dined with us have also praised the size and flavor. I used to avoid eating all of the batter, especially the skin side for health reasons, but when we order from here I find myself enjoying it. The curry sauce is also delicious. The large chips just need a bit more seasoning to make them truly outstanding, as other local reviewers have mentioned.
Our first meal from here yesterday evening had been recommended by a friend who lives close to it. cadjau, chips, muddy heaps and homemade tarte sauce. I can honestly say it was one of the best fish and chips we ever had and put a lot of restaurants to be ashamed of the quality of eating. the dough for the fish was incredibly light and not fat, the dorsch itself was perfectly cooked. chips, although a big bag was a little small, were the best we ever had from a chippy. and weed sauces were also great. will be coming back
