The Peckham Pelican is a large space opposite the South London Gallery. It is really cozy with lots of worn out sofas and plenty of tables and space to work on your laptop. The ambience is definitely the highlight. They only had filter coffee and...a very limited choice of toasted sandwiches. The staff seemed bored and uninspired by working here. But I would still rate this place for the coziness of the actual venue. View all feedback.
If you're looking for a dirty establishment with rude staff who offer absolutely no service in Peckham, this is the place for you.
The staff at the restaurant was very friendly, but the temperature inside was so cold that we all felt freezing. The pizza was better than Domino's, but I wouldn't go as far as to say it was amazing. The prices were reasonable and there were many students dining there.
I had a birthday party and reserved a few tables at the end of the bar. The atmosphere was great, the staff was friendly, there was a good selection of drinks, and communication via email was fast and easy.
What to find, right place, good value for money, happy staff. does not know how it is later, but it is worth finding out
One of my favorite places in south london. very cooled, nice music, friendly staff and good eating on small menu. really cheap too. would be recommended for evening drinks or with friends. it is sure robust, but does not claim to be. they always enjoy every time there.
