The service was lovely with a very friendly waiter, and the ambience was nice. We are local so come here often. The restaurant was very inflexible about pizza toppings which I found frustrating. I asked for a margherita pizza with pancetta (offered on another pizza alongside pineapple and gorgonzola) for my son. The waiter said they were asked for this all the time and couldn't do it. What Fiona Hawke doesn't like about The Orange:
Kitchen was backed up and we had to wait over 1.5 hours for any food to come out and when the starters did come out they were tepid at best. The staff were very apologetic, but it was a pretty miserable experience View all feedback.
Service was good. However, the meat was hard, dry and undercooked I asked for medium and it was rare. Very loud it makes hard to hear at the table.
They were very accommodating, staff were very attentive and setting beautiful. However we had the roasts and the pork was overcooked and all the vegetables were cold which was disappointing.
The service was terrible, slow and they kept forgetting us cancelled our bottle of wine in the end as it never came. all they seem to be worried about was getting the table back for the next sitting... such a shame as a great venue and the pizza was delicious.
The dining room is beautiful, with high quality beer and wine selection. The appetizers and pizza are very good. It's a great place to meet friends and enjoy a lively conversation.
We enjoyed a delightful lunch at this restaurant. The service was excellent, and the food and drinks were delicious. While it was a bit pricey, it is understandable given the location in one of the most beautiful areas in London. I would definitely return in the future.
