The staff was very pleasant, the food was very good for the price, and the atmosphere was great. The customers were also pleasant. Although they were short-staffed this time, possibly due to the holiday, it is still a good place. View all feedback.
What Neil Wright doesn't like about The Gatehouse:
We booked a table for Father's Day. The service we received was fantastic, really friendly staff, very efficient and professional. The food was excellent, as was the wine! Quite expensive overall, but worth it as we had a really good time. This is not our first visit and will not be the last! View all feedback.

This restaurant is friendly, offers great value, and is the perfect spot for dining before a show at Theatre at the Gate. Highly recommended.
I visited The Gatehouse for the first time and really enjoyed it. The atmosphere was wonderful with a historic setting. The menu was interesting and our waitress was charming and patiently accommodated all of our special requests. She also made sure to check on us frequently to see if we needed anything. I would definitely come back again.
One of my favourite Wetherspoons, located in Highgate village this pub has a bit of a country feel to it with fireplaces and the warm cosy layout.
As Wetherspoons go, this is a good oneThe staff were prompt, friendly and quick to serve, and there were good deals on meals etc.
