Haven’t been here in ten years and was a bit wary but boy it did not disappoint. The seafood platter was sooooooo fresh. Prawns were super juicy and sweet and full of roe. The oysters were plump and fresh. And my favourite fish stew was THE BOMB. Slightly spicy. Super tasty. OMG. Can’t wait to come back. Service was great too. View all feedback.
What Michaela Wegener doesn't like about The Cow:
We had Sunday lunch upstairs. It was really quiet only our table and another group booking of 6 or so. Therefore lacking at atmosphere and ambience. It’s a nice dining room and I can see how it could be vibey. We had the pint of prawns which were a little disappointing. The roast made up for it, though. The beef perfectly cooked and great roasties and carrots. View all feedback.

On the recommendation of the waitress both see yun and wendy went on the inscription fish stew with roulille croutons. they were not disappointed.

Some walnut bread and a carafe roses properly ordered, I spent the next half hour drinking in the beautiful plates coming out. our neighbours had rare steaks with a...read more
Visited london and wanted fish stew and saw good reviews here. decided to try. ordered oysters, devon whole crab (if they love good crab, it is the meat is firm and chunky and fish stew (absolut superb) . *didn had not the opportunity to pick for the fish stew, could not wait! it was fabulous. will come back. the seats are a bit tight, as it is a pub session that I think it adds to the ambiente that made the food taste even better! great service team also! will definitely return!
