Beautiful food, huge portions and beautiful cocktails
Oooops had to close the kitchen after our starters as they had electrical problems and couldn't cook, didn't help me just send my starter back because it was too spicy and the starters had to share with my dinner mats and it was my birthday! Well, we didn't have to pay for the drinks and the starter.
We have been here a few times and always have a great time so will return again
Starter The crab cakes were average bordering on bland and one of them had some shell in them. The oysters were very good. Mains Both of us had sirloin steaks, one was very good the other was far from it and full of grizzle. The chimichurri dressing was bland and tasteless. Dessert The tiramisu which was recommended was devoid of any taste whatsoever, can be forgiven for no alcohol but when no coffee flavour unforgivable. The chocolate brownies also recommended came out as a Knickerbocker glory, unexpected but enjoyable. For what it cost we have had a lot better for less in other restaurants in Chiswick. Ron W4
Booked this for Mother's Day, decided to visit on Saturday instead of the Sunday. Drinks and food amazing, however the starter i decided to have was no longer available to my disappointment. The starter took over an hour to reach us. Further to this was the main which took a while too. I debated whether to order a pudding seen as I had been in the restaurant longer than expected. In the end i opted for Creme Brûlée which was advised came with seasonal berries. Once i received this, it did not taste at all like what it should, also the dessert came with ONE raspberry....I booked for half 7 and left at 10pm. Overall the food is amazing by passing the dessert, however the timing is absolutely ridiculous considering they were not that busy.
